Last
day at home. Chaos. Chris and Karen came over for a
well-deserved drink in the evening. Then we put our belongings in
the hired van, and took them up to storage. Got to bed around 3am. |
| Tuesday |
We
had intended to be out of the house by 11am to catch the ferry to the
Isle of Wight (to say 'goodbye' to Brigid's Mum and to look at her
computer). In the end, caught the 5.30pm ferry, had tea, and
rushed off again to catch the Le Havre ferry at 10.15pm. |
| Wednesday |
Spent
most of the day on the road. Arrived with Bill & Julia
Ferguson around 6pm. |
| Thursday |
Left
the car (loaded to the gunnels with our ski gear) at Bon Repos, and flew
out from Toulouse. The flight was delayed. Arrived John's
Mum about 10pm. Sat chatting to the family until about 2.30am. |
| Friday |
Flew
from Heathrow to Boston. Collected bikes from Dunbar
Eurosports. Stayed overnight in Brockton, Mass. Booked into
the Holiday Inn for the night. Absolutely exhausted! |
| Saturday |
Left
Boston area. Intention stay weekend in Vermont. Stopped
Lebanon, New Hampshire, due heavy rain. |

Arrived
Montpelier, Vermont. Still raining heavily. |
